Ask Christina

It is with great excitement and adequate humility that Christina, the Blue Ridge Meditating Bovine, announces the release of her first book, Ask the Cow, a Gentle Guide to Finding Peace.

Because Christina admits to having some trouble managing the keyboard with cloven hooves, she graciously shares her authorship with Rita Reynolds, her devoted caregiver, companion, and (she wants to point out) stubborn student in the practical and mystical application of universal wisdom.

No ordinary cow, Christina generously offers the human race insights and methods she instinctively understands regarding inner peace: ways to find and integrate it and, to quote her Cowship, why one must always “give it back” to the world at large. An excellent teacher for anyone interested, she is quick to add that she is only a guide to such knowledge. Still, she adds, “Cows know everything.”

While there is a great deal of Very Useful Information in her book, Christina is happy to respond to readers’ own questions, welcoming all letters via email. While she does not claim to be psychic (no, she will not give out lottery numbers or predict the future) she will readily share universal/cosmic wisdom that, she claims, transcends time and space and will be useful to anyone truly seeking inner peace, balance, and truth. From time to time there will be new posts on this site that will help guide humanity. After all, she points out, Nature in all its forms has known how to survive in a cooperative way since the beginnings of Earth. It would behoove (forgive her pun) humankind to perhaps learn a few things from Nature rather than build more shopping malls, plan more wars, and continue to destroy the rainforests (among a frightening number of other things and species). If she can help to save the planet and all her citizens, she is anxious to do so. Please feel free to contact her at veggiecowtoo@gmail.com . Please be patient. Because she must rely on her person/companion to work the keyboard, responses may be a bit delayed. However, you will not be forgotten or ignored! It would not be in her nature to do so.

Her Advice to Carry With You::

Turn off the news, Christina advises. And open your ears, your eyes, your hearts and voice to what really matters.

It’s love.
